A global leader in OEM manufacturing of medical devices for minimally invasive surgery is opening operations in the Grecia Free Trade Zone and is seeking to hire a Head of Supply Chain Management to lead the implementation and management of the local supply chain, ensuring operational continuity, regulatory compliance, and efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in leadership roles.

• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries (highly desirable).

• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, customs, planning, and ERP systems.

• Fluency in English is mandatory.

• Strategic, analytical, results-oriented profile with a hands-on mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end supply chain: procurement, demand planning, logistics, customs, warehousing, and distribution.

• Ensure the availability of materials for production on time, at optimal cost, and with the required quality.

• Manage critical KPIs such as OTIF, inventory levels, and supply continuity.

• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards applicable to the medical device industry.

• Develop and manage relationships with local and international suppliers.

• Act as the supply chain lead for the Costa Rica plant and as a key liaison with Headquarters and global teams.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency across the supply chain.
